Changes at Ahlmark Shipping (UK) Ltd/Ahlmark Lines AB,
After almost sixteen years, Tim Hollands at Ahlmark Shipping (UK) in the Port of Hull is standing down as Managing Director. He will take a new role of Commercial Manager (UK) for Ahlmark Lines AB, working with customers/ports in the UK and Sweden.
As from 1st January 2024, Danny Carmichael will become Managing Director of Ahlmark Shipping (UK) Ltd. Danny has been working as General Manager at Ahlmark Shipping (UK) Ltd for nearly six years. Danny previously worked for ABP in the Port of Hull for thirty years.
Faye Collinson-Batty will also take on her new role from 1st January, as Terminal Administration Manager after providing admin/accounts support to the Hull team for 22 years.
Ahlmark Shipping’s terminal in King George Dock covers 11 acres with 30,000 sqm of undercover storage, handling approx. 250,000m3 timber per annum with weekly liner services from Kristinehamn, Skelleftehamn and Iggesund.
Ahlmark Lines AB is one of the oldest Swedish shipping lines formed in 1847 and is a major carrier of sawn timber from Sweden to the UK.
